Extraordinary Innovations is a fashion edit. We look at the season's apparel, footwear, handbags and accessories from the best department stores and designer retailers, and narrow it to the pieces and outfits worth your attention.

Most of our work lives on Pinterest, where we build boards around the looks people are searching for: outfits for work, for weddings, for the holidays, for the change of season, and the investment pieces that anchor a wardrobe. This journal is where we write those edits out in full.

How we choose

We pick pieces for how they wear, not how they photograph: a handbag that works with more than one outfit, a boot that holds its shape, a coat that still looks right in five years. When we recommend something, it is because we would point a friend to it.
